Abstract:	2月1日から新期立法院が開会し、陳水扁政権時代に行政院長など要職を歴任した游錫堃氏が立法院長に選出された。国政選挙で惨敗した国民党は呉敦義主席の辞任に伴い3月上旬に補欠選挙が行われることとなった。民間団体主導による韓國瑜高雄市長の罷免案が起動した。 1月末以降、台湾でも「武漢肺炎」が蔓延し、台湾当局は対応に追われることになった。
