The global rise of STEAM education began in 2016. There has been a growing emphasis on the educational discipline that engages students around the subjects of Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Math. However, incorporating Art into the original Mathematics framework and curriculum is still relatively uncommon, even though Mathematics can be discerned in arts such as music, dance, painting, architecture, sculpture, and textiles, as well as has a long historical relationship with Art since the golden ratio in Ancient time, the De divina proportione (1509) in Italian Renaissance, and to geometry in Modern ART. This program attempted to propose a one-semester long theoretical model on this emphasis, to provide more concrete guidelines and tools for Mathematics educators and curriculum developers, to allow them to execute STEAM, by introducing the conceptual tools invented by mathematicians which directly influenced the development of visual arts throughout the centuries. A massive open online course (MOOC), a Web-based distance learning program, will be established to support the participation of large numbers of geographically dispersed teachers and students, aiming to resolve the information and technical gap between schools in cities and rural areas.
