Abstract: | 對於新創公司和中大型企業而言,創新能力都是在面對市場和產業技術快速變化的時代中是否能維繫競爭力並獲得成功的重要關鍵。新創公司與中大型企業看似處於創新天秤的二端,要如何跨越鴻溝尋求對彼此成長有益的助力,成為近年來從政府政策、學術研究到產業市場都在熱烈討論的議題。對於新創公司來說,和中大型企業建立關係可以為他們提供有用的資源、市場專業知識並可能帶來投資資金和營收的成長;而對中大型企業來說,與新創公司的合作可以幫助企業接觸創新文化、快速發現新的技術和商業模式並促進開放式創新的合作。 企業新創參與(Corporate Startup Engagement, CSE)一般認為是由思科(Cisco)的前執行長約翰·錢伯斯(John Thomas Chambers)提出的,企業新創參與最早的概念是指企業把資金投入創投基金(Venture Capital),通過投資組合取得新創公司股權。隨著網路世代的崛起,消費者習慣發生了本質上的重大改變,物聯網、人工智慧、雲端運算等新興技術的快速發展,更促使以創新技術或商模快速顛覆傳統市場的新創獨角獸崛起,中大企業為了能保有市場優勢持續成長,開始以更積極的方式與新創公司合作以加速創新的腳步。目前一般把企業新創參與模式分為八大類別:活動(Event)、支持服務(Support Services)、新創計畫(Startup Program)、共創空間(Co-Working Space)、加速器/孵化器(Accelerators & Incubators)、分拆事業(Spin-Offs)、投資(Investment)、併購(M&A)。 建立企業新創參與生態系的成功關鍵在於企業應釐清與新創公司合作的動機和採行的互動模式;清楚定義計畫目標、執行策略和投入資源;在企業內建立與新創對接的明確溝通管道;通過採用混合式組合方法降低新創參與活動的風險;放下甲乙方思維,擁抱夥伴關係。 |
