Avoidant attachment tended to decrease body satisfication and appearance-orientated. This tendency decreased their self-esteem indirectly. One the other hand, body satisfaction and and appearance-oriented didn’t mediated anxious attachment and self-esteem. The study found that to increase the level of secure attachment can help adolescents increase the level of their body satisfaction and self-esteem.
