摘要: Smart technology is spreading globally and is available as never before. The increase of internet speed and lower costs of technology make it accessible to use IOT and smart technology not only in industries, but also in society and by individuals around the world.
This study aims to analyze effects of smart technologies on society and individuals in China, given the underlying demographic changes, such as urbanization and aging population. This research aims to identify, process, summarize and simplify useful information regarding the use of smart technology and its impact on society; The research uses analytical and logical reasoning to determine the patterns, relationships and trends of smart technology in society.
First, each of both demographic factors, urbanization and aging of population are analyzed in the context of the use of smart technology and data privacy. Second, the positive and negative effects of smart technology to society are discussed.
Smart technology has an enormous impact on society and this impact is expected to increase. This smart technology impact is multi-facet as it may help to solve urbanization problems, and problem related to aging of population by introducing smart transportation systems, smart healthcare systems and smart security systems.
