Title: | 人格特質與大學生政治參與 Big Five Personality Traits and Political Participation of College Students |

Abstract: | 人格特質一直是心理學分析個人行為的重要因素,然而在政治學中卻長期被忽略。近幾年大學生積極開始參與政治活動的現象,也讓政治社會化的領域中掀起一股影響大學生政治參與的原因分析。本文以心理學的五大人格特質(Five-Factor Model,又稱FFM),分析大學生的性格與政治參與的關係,使用「我國大學生政治社會化的定群追蹤研究」第四年的調查資料,以廣義結構式模型(generalized structure equation model, GSEM),分析大學生對於2014年3月的太陽花學運以及2014年底的九合一地方選舉中,人格特質與兩種不同型式的政治參與之間的關係外,也探討人格特質否會透過政治興趣、政治效能感等因素間接影響政治參與。 我們經過研究發現,大學生的人格特質對於政治參與的影響可分為直接與間接影響。在投票參與上,人格特質不會直接影響大學生是否去投票,但是會透過政治興趣間接影響他們是否去投票,其中親和性人格愈高,政治興趣愈低,愈不會去投票;外向性人格特質愈高,政治興趣愈高,愈會去投票;在參加太陽花學運的表現上,人格特質會直接以及間接影響大學生的參與,在政治興趣為中介的情況下,開放性及親和性人格會影響學生參與太陽花學運,開放性愈高,愈會去參與太陽花學運,親和性愈高,愈不會去參與太陽花學運,除此之外親和性以及外向性人格也會因為政治興趣間接影響學生的參與。在政治效能感作為中介的情況下,開放性、外向性以及親和性人格會直接影響學生參與太陽花學運,開放性、外向性人格愈高的學生,愈會去參與太陽花學運,親和性人格愈高,愈不會去參與太陽花學運,並且人格特質不會因為政治效能感而影響學生的投票參與及太陽花學運參與。 |
