    摘要: 順應環境變遷、時代脈動,人力資源的獲得已被視為組織運作的重要關鍵,行政體系所需的管理人才,正奠基於學校正規教育傳授的核心價值。公共行政教育目的,即為國家與社會培養具備公共事務專業能力的人才,除著重行政管理學識知能的培育外,亦擔負起公共行政核心價值傳遞,究竟學科教育能否為學子養成具學識以外從事公共服務的動機,為大學系所培育行政管理人才不可忽視的重要課題。公共服務動機迄今研究成果,從學科背景探究公共服務動機的相關研究目前仍知之甚少,本研究透過初探性的實證研究,瞭解具公共行政學科屬性與非公共行政學科屬性的學生,兩者公共服務動機異同程度與影響因素,實證學科背景對於當前學生公共服務動機的影響。

    本研究採取問卷調查,針對單一校系之行政管理與企業管理學系學生為研究對象,從個人家庭與學科背景等面向,探討影響個人公共服務動機的主要因素。研究結果發現,無論行管系抑或企管系學生,具有正向且具顯著差異的公共服務動機;然兩者的公共服務動機並不會隨年級不同而有差異。影響因素方面,家庭社會化、同儕氛圍以及服務精神養成,對於行管系與企管系學生的公共服務動機分別具有顯著影響。期藉此實務調查,深化學科教育重視培養與維繫學生公共服務動機的重要性。
