| Abstract: | 本研究旨在探討身心障礙者使用網路資源之需求與行為，主要聚焦於身心障礙者使用網路的動機、對於網路的資訊需求、過去使用網際網路與圖書館資源之經驗與遭遇之問題等三大面向，以瞭解未來圖書館或機關團體於提供網頁資源時應該注意那些面向，並可以針對身心障礙者之使用需求據以調整與規劃。
過去探討身心障礙者資訊需求之研究多以一般傳統資訊尋求管道為探討對象，即使觸及身心障礙者之網路資訊需求，對象亦多以視覺障礙者與聽覺障礙者為主，其他障礙類別則較少觸及。本研究為了探討身心障礙者使用網路資源之需求與行為，以及障礙者過去使用網際網路與圖書館資源之經驗，因此以《圖書館法》所規範之特殊讀者為研究對象，採用半結構式深度訪談法之方式，以瞭解身心障礙者於使用網路資源過程中之需求與行為，以作為未來提供網頁資源與規劃設計之參考建議。
綜合訪談結果與相關文獻後發現身心障礙者的網路資訊需求多元，且其會依據自身之資訊需求與障礙需求選擇合適之上網設備，而不同障礙類別之身心障礙者亦需要不同的輔助工具以協助其上網，雖然目前網頁多提倡「無障礙設計」，但仍有許多網頁不符合無障礙設計規範。另外，由訪談結果可以得知，身心障礙者使用圖書館的頻率偏低，因此，未來圖書館應根據身心障礙者的需求提供合適之資源，以提高其使用意願。
根據本研究之研究結果，建議未來網頁設計者應瞭解身心障礙者之網路資訊需求，或於設計過程中邀請使用者分享其網路使用經驗。另外亦建議圖書館未來可以開設身心障礙者網路資源導覽課程，讓身心障礙者可以更加瞭解圖書館所提供的資源與服務內容，以增加身心障礙者前往圖書館取用資訊之動機與意願。
This study aims to explore the needs and behaviors of people with disabilities who use online resources, focusing on the motivations of people with disabilities who use the Internet, the information needs of the Internet, and their experience of using the Internet and library resources in the past. The ultimate goal is to provide insight for the future of library information services, and how they can best meet the needs of people with disabilities.
In the past, research on information needs of people with disabilities was mainly explored through the traditional information seeking pipeline. Even if the information needs of the physically and mentally handicapped were met, the target was mostly the visually and hearing impaired. Other obstacle categories were rarely compared. In order to explore the needs and behaviors of people with physical and mental disabilities using Internet resources, and the experience of those who have used the Internet and library resources in the past, this study uses an in-depth interview approach with special readers regulated by Library Law as the research object, as a reference for future web resources and planning.
Based on the results of the comprehensive interviews and related literatures, it was discovered that the network information needs of people with physical and mental disabilities are diversified, and they will select suitable Internet devices according to their own information needs and obstacles. People with disabilities in different obstacle categories also need different auxiliary tools. To help them access the Internet, although the current webpage may advocate "accessible design," there are still many web pages that do not meet a barrier-free design specification. In addition, it can be known from the interview results that people with disabilities use libraries infrequently. Therefore, in the future, libraries should provide appropriate resources according to the needs of the disabled to increase their willingness to exploit them.
Based on the results of this study, it is recommended that future web designers should understand the network information needs of people with disabilities, or invite users to share their network experience during the design process. It is also recommended that the library can open a web resource guide course for the physically and mentally handicapped, so they can better understand the resources and services provided by the library, and increase their willingness to access the library. |
