Abstract:	為達成圖書館滿足使用者資訊需求之目標，圖書館實有掌握使用者需求，並主動行銷服務之必要性。而近年極熱門應用於企業行銷決策之資料探勘技術，能否應用於圖書館環境協助決策，值得探討。本文說明資料探勘之意義、功用，並介紹一般性的實施過程與應用技術，接著針對圖書館服務內容及館藏特質，進一步剖析圖書館應用資料探勘之適用範圍。最後，將研究建議提供圖書館決策者參考。 In order to achieve the goal that library should satisfy the information needs of users, it is necessary to understand the needs of users and marketing. Data mining applied to the decisions of enterprises popularly in recent years. Whether data mining could apply to the library environment to assistance decision, it`s worthful to discuss. This paper discusses the significance and function of data mining, and introduces the general processes and technologies at first. Then, I aim at the characteristics of library services and collections to analyze the appropriateness of applying data mining to the library. Finally, implications for decision makers of library were proposed.
