    摘要: 本文介紹美國國家醫學圖書館分類法之內容與結構，並針對第五版之修訂狀況及其特色加以說明。同時以臺灣大學醫學院圖書分館為例，對該館如何因應第五版分類法之出版所做的改號工作，加以敘述，期能提供臺灣地區其他醫學圖書館之參考。
    This article introduces the content and structure of National Library of Medicine Classification, focusing on the revisions and features of the fifth edition. The National Taiwan University Medical Library is cited as an example of how its collection has been reclassified in response to the publication of the fifth edition. This description of the process is provided for the reference of other medical libraries in Taiwan, ROC.
