    摘要: 中央研究院近代史研究所成立於1955年，該所為一致力於近代史研究的單位。自1955年10月近史所徵集到外交部門的檔案後，近史所在檔案與研究的結合下，成為歷史資料的典藏單位。1966年12月，近史所開始收藏經濟部門的檔案，並成立檔案室。1988年設立一棟四層樓高的檔案館，以作為檔案典藏管理之專業單位。 本文就近史所檔案館對檔案的徵集、整編、典藏、利用等管理情形作一概述。
    The Institute of Modern History in the Academia Sinica was founded in February 1955 as an academic research institution specializing in modern history. Since its acquisition of the Foreign Ministry Archives in October 1955, the Institute become an institution linked with special link of historical materials. With the deposition of the documents of Ministry of Economic Affairs in December 1966, the Institute formally set up an Archives Office, In February 1988 a four-story Archival Building Completed, a fully modernized library establishment for collecting archival materials was thus realized.This article briefly describes the management of archives, including acquisition, arrangement, disposition, conservation and utilization of archives at the Institute of Modern History.
