    摘要: 美國資料中心前身為美國新聞處圖書館。中美斷交之後，更名為美國文化心圖書館。為因應科技與電子媒體的迅速發展，又於一九九五年更名為美國資料中心。本文主要在美國資料中心的參考諮詢服務與推廣服務、人員訓練以及未來展望，提出概括性的介紹。
    The American Resource Center is transformed from the former Library of the United States Information Service which was renamad as the library of the American Culture Center after the Sino-American diplomatic was cut off. But to cope with the rapid development of technology and electronic media, the American Resource Center was activated in 1995. The article aims to present a general introduction of the reference retrieval and promotion service, librarians training and the future prospect of the American Resource Center in Taiwan.
