Abstract:	本文之目的，是介紹民主人格之概念，詮釋其意識形態與文化含義，亦將質疑其看似開放實則封閉之主張，並討論其對中國民主化之啓示，包括中國人社會人格之原型，與適合中國文化背景的公民民主概念雛形。最後，則提出適合集體主義文化的母親人格理論,作為分析中國政治文化精神狀態之用。
