The worldwide economic situation has been improved significantly after 10 years followed by the Financial crisis of 2008-2009, which has also resulted in a greater scale of wealth management market, and Asia Pacific is the major area with the most stronger growth in terms of private fortune in the world. However, the wealth management industry has been facing the huge pressure of gaining revenue due to stricter regulations raised in all countries, lower active private bank clients, frequent people movement and a variety of challenges, such as operations, technologies and talents.

The thesis aims to probe into the disruptive innovation of the operation mode of External Asset Management (EAM) by studying how EAM company integrates with private bank to provide total solutions to meet client’s different needs so that they could achieve the win-win situation together in the whole market.

My suggestions for the operation mode of EAM has been provided in the chapter 4. The cross analysis result among EAM company, private bank and client not only points out the concrete advantages of the operation mode of EAM, but also offers valuable recommendations in which I believe it would meet the high-end client’s various demands of wealth management as well as delivery a visionary business plan to the market in a rapid substantial change.
