Title:	以顧客為導向的加拿大Maclean`s個人化大學排名

Abstract:	3千2百萬人口的加拿大擁有360所高等教育機構，並平均分布於全國的十個省份和二領地。加拿大憲法規定，教育是歸各省管轄，非聯邦政府，因此，大多數的加拿大大學是公立的，由省政府提供經費，但仍有少數教會創辦的私立大學。由於教育權的分權化，使得各省政府能根據自己的地域需求與文化背景規劃出各自的教育制度，雖然不若美國高等教育體系龐大，卻也凸顯出與其相似的多元特色。根據OECD統計，年齡在25至34歲之間的加拿大人有53%擁有大學學歷，是全球高等教育人口比例最高的國家。「大學排名」由美國U.S. News & World Report 在1983年正式拉開序幕之後，創辦於1905年加拿大多倫多（Toronto) 的資深媒體雜誌Maclean’s也於1991年跟進，加入大學排名的行列之中，瞬間點燃加拿大大學間的排名競爭賽。自此，加拿大Maclean’s雜誌約於每年4月向各校蒐集相關資料，並由McDougall Scientific公司協助資料統計，大約11月公布最新加拿大大學的排行榜，並在隔年3月左右出版加拿大大學指南（Maclean’s Guide to Canadian Universities），詳盡介紹50多所加拿大大學。
