With the approaches, concepts and problematics of Lacan-Hegel-Marx, the two kernels of Žižek’s thought are negativity and dialectical materialism. His negativity originates from Lacanian psychoanalysis, and he develops from it the concept of parallax view, and constructs a epistemology-ontology with it. This is the foundation of his critiques of various philosophies, sciences and political ideologies. The concept of non-All in Lacan’s formulae of sexuation is essential for Žižek to build his new definition of materialism. On the side of dialectical materialism, Žižek departs from Hegel for his own dialectic, and differentiates the dialectics between traditional Marxists and his. The new materialism of Žižek is non-reductive and non-All, and he takes it as a future philosophy of our times. Žižek reads quantum physics with his dialectical materialism, as a science on material reality, it supplements his dialectical materialism.
