    Title: 道德感之普遍性與動力性-謝勒與牟宗三的共識

    Abstract: 就道德情感而言,牟宗三反對康德將情感只限淤感性層之論點,指出心可以上下其講,不能與實踐理性合一者是下講的氣性才性之情,若上提而爲惻隱之心,則斷然是超越而普遍的悅理義之心,如此一來,不但情感有其先天的軌範,成爲名符其實的道德感,在道德實踐上亦成爲沛然莫之能禦的動力,與理性之法則成爲主客觀合一者,道德行爲於是順適而妥貼。正是在強調情感之普遍性與動力性這兩點上,謝勒(Max Scheler)與牟先生不謀而合。謝勒亦認爲康德對情感的看法太狹隘,只允許理性的形式具有普遍性,對有內客之情感的實質先天性視而不見。情感並非都是快樂主義式的快感,情感中自有可克制情欲與衝動等自然傾向之層面,亦即那些與價值有關的價值感、偏好與愛。康德就是因爲把一切感性活動都只視爲缺乏意向性的苦樂等感受狀態,才忽略作爲感知活動的光天價值感與偏好之存在。偏好揭顯的價值等級秩序又正是道德行爲之基礎,道德價值正建立在偏好與實現較高的價值之中,亦即孟子所謂「所欲有甚於生」的存在決斷中,康德無視於此,才不能承認道德感作爲道德行爲的真正根據。由此可見,雖然謝勒與新儒家並非不存在歧見,以現有的共識做會通而相互截長補短仍是可行的。
