(4)正向心理學期刊以「Journal of Personality and Social Psychology」最具聲望與代表性;以及「The Journal of Positive Psychology」期刊,在正向心理學介入研究的論文出版最為活躍。
The research of positive psychology has been developed continuously for the past few years and catches the attention of researchers around the world. The purpose of this study was to explore the visualization of literature review of positive psychology and positive psychology interventions, and the meta-analysis of the effects of positive psychology interventions on well-being and depression. Two studies were conducted.
Study 1 used bibliometric analysis method to analyze the trends of positive psychology and positive psychology interventions and to draw knowledge maps. The results revealed that: (1) The United States and its research institutions dedicated to the development of positive psychology. (2) Articles published by Seligman & Csikszentmihalyi (2000) and Seligman et al. (2005) are most widely cited by scholars. (3) Seligman, Diener, and Fredrickson are the most important international scholars in the field of positive psychology. (4) “Journal of Personality and Social Psychology” has the most prestigious and representative in the field of positive psychology. "The Journal of Positive Psychology" is the most active publication about positive psychology interventions.
Study 2 used meta-analysis method to analyze the effects of positive psychology interventions on well-being and depression. A total of 47 articles, describing 48 studies were included. There were 6,143 in the experimental group and 4,509 in the control group, and 9 moderators were explored. The results revealed that: (1) Positive psychology interventions have a low to moderate positive effect and a continuous effect on improving well-being and reducing depressive symptoms. (2) Moderators include intervention time, intervention methods, age level, recruitment category, sample characteristics, student category, control group treatment conditions and different languages, which have significant influence on the effects of positive psychology interventions.
Finally, according to the conclusions, suggestions for positive psychology progress, educational practice, and future research are proposed.
