    Title: 家庭長期照顧者人格特質與照顧感受之研究
    Personalities and care work feelings of long-term family caregivers

    Abstract: 本研究主要為探討家庭照顧者在人格特質與照顧感受之間的關係與預測情形,同時瞭解不同背景是否會對家庭照顧者在照顧感受上產生差異,以及不同背景在人格特質和照顧感受之間有無調節的效果。本研究以「IPIP五大人格量表」及自編「家庭照顧者照顧感受量表」編制問卷,照顧感受包含正向照顧投入及負向照顧倦怠之感受,回收225份有效問卷。以皮爾森相關、多元迴歸等統計方法進行分析。

    研究結果如下:
    一、「神經質」人格能預測「照顧倦怠」,神經質越高度,照顧倦怠越嚴重。
    二、「神經質」與「友善性」人格能預測「照顧投入」,神經質越高度,照顧投入越低,友善性越高度,照顧投入越高。
    三、「外向性」人格減緩研究所(肄)畢業家庭照顧者「照顧倦怠」的效果,比減緩大學(專)(肄)畢業家庭照顧者照顧倦怠的效果更強。
    四、「神經質」人格研究所(肄)畢業家庭照顧者本身「照顧投入」低,「神經質」人格抑制照顧投入的效果對於大學(專)(肄)畢業家庭照顧者較明顯。
    五、無聘請看護工或機構協助的家庭照顧者與有聘請看護工或機構協助的家庭照顧者在照顧倦怠情形上無明顯差異,但對前者而言,「神經質」人格加劇「照顧倦怠」的效果更強。

    最後,本研究根據研究結論提供建議以利未來政府在制定家庭照顧者、長照政策時有所參考。
    The purpose of this study was to investigate long-term family caregivers and their Big Five personalities, burnout and engagement. In this study, we used IPIP Big-Five Factor Markers and self-made family caregiver questionnaire to measure and analyze the predictive power of Big Five personalities on burnout and engagement.
    Primary findings were as follows:
    1.Burnout was positively related with neuroticism.
    2.Engagement was negatively related with neuroticism but positively related with agreeableness.
    3.Extraversion personality can decrease burnout. However, those effects were obvious for family caregivers of graduate school degree than of bachelor ones.
    4.Education level showed moderating effect on the relation between neuroticism personality and engagement; family caregivers who owned graduate degree had lower engagement, while those family caregivers of bachelor degree had higher engagement.
    5.Hiring nursing workers or not showed moderating effect on the relation between neuroticism personality and burnout; the reinforcing effects of neuroticism on burnout were more obvious for the family caregivers who did not hire nursing workers than for those who had hired nursing workers.
