    Title: 中文報紙版面改革的研究

    Abstract: 本文旨在分析國內報紙版面的形式，並希望藉此提出一些改進的原則。研究步驟如下：(1)先檢討有關訊號研究的既存發現或理論，例如「相近性」與「相似性」原則，據此提出「好」版面的條件；(2)本文將對美國與日本主要報紙的版面進行分析，藉此作為第三步驟研究的依據；(3)本文會透過「實驗法」驗證以上兩步驟所獲得的改進版面原則。研究結果如下：(1)十五字至十八字的欄寬，可能是最適宜閱讀的字行寬度；(2)雙行直式的標題比雙行橫式、橫直並用式、「花式」標題的可讀性高；(3)僅用一種字體的標題，會比混用兩種不同字體標題的可讀性高。
