    摘要: 本文是透過「中文可讀性公式」來檢視中文文章可讀性的因素，並做出以下假設：(1)句子越長越難理解；(2)字的筆劃數越多，字越深奧，也越難懂；(3)複合字的比率越高越難懂。本研究發現：(1)字的筆劃數並不會顯著影響文章的可讀性；(2)字的平均筆畫數會顯著影響可讀性，亦即平均筆劃數越高，文章越難理解。由此可見，漢字結構複雜，顯然是阻礙傳播的一項重要因素；(3)文章完整句子的比率越高，也越容易理解，只不過這種影響力在中文不如其他語文明顯；(4)片語的平均長度越長，理解分數越高。
