Title:	論報紙的評論功能

Abstract:	本文旨在說明報紙的評論功能為何越來越衰退，以及對於這種功能的未來展望。本文表示，「阿富汗主義」是讓評論功能衰退的因素之一，這是指有些社論主筆只想找一些遙遠地點與人物的評論主題，以信口開河。此外，由於現代報紙是把新聞報導與評論分開處理，如果在新聞中夾雜寫者的意見，就會被稱為「評論化」而被視為不可寬恕的罪行，這也是評論功能下滑的直接因素。本文對報紙的評論則有以下期許：(1)社論在社論版的重要性是無可否認的，社論與專欄也無根本的衝突；(2)政治漫畫與社論可進行合作，對同一個議題發表評論；(3)今後應該推出優秀的社論，以重振評論文字的威力。
