    Title: 傳播內容之定量分析與定質分析

    Abstract: 柏勒遜（Bernard Berelson）於其所著的「傳播研究的內容分析」（Content Analysis in Communication Research）中為內容分析所下的定義為：內容分析為客觀、系統及定量的敘述明顯傳播內容的一種研究方法。只是此定義排除了定質的敘述而引起爭論，本文便試圖就柏勒遜與喬治（Alexander L. George）之說，作一比較性的討論。

    結果發現，從方法的觀點而論，定量較具系統性和精確性，從目的的觀點來看，定質分析的有效性和時宜性較高。不過以大眾傳播方法論的立場來說，定量分析比較能符合科學研究的精神。
