Title: | 專門圖書館館員對工作生活品質之研究:以中央研究院為例 Quality of Work Life of Special Librarians– a case study of Academia Sinica Libraries |

Abstract: | 本研究以在中央研究院圖書館工作的館員作為研究對象,調查專門圖書館館員的工作生活品質現況,並瞭解中央研究院圖書館員對工作生活品質,即「工作內容」、「薪酬與保障」、「主管與同儕關係」、「專業能力」、「個人生活品質」等五個構面的滿意度。此外,透過調查蒐集圖書館館員對於自身工作品質之改善方法與建議。
本研究採取問卷調查法,對中央研究院19個圖書館(室)共105位專門圖書館館員進行全面普查。統計分析結果後顯示:
從受訪者基本資料分析,中央研究院專門圖書館館員以女性佔多數,館員年齡大多分布於30以下-39歲之間,婚姻狀況方面則是已婚館員稍多於單身館員,又,有子女之館員人數稍多於沒有子女人數之館員。館員學歷以擁有學士學歷者最多。館員的學科背景方面則以具有圖書資訊學相關背景為最多人。在圖書館工作年資以工作年資達11~20年為多數。以中央研究院圖書館所服務的研究組別區分,人文社會科學組的館員人數最多。以目前擔任的主要工作職務區分,以從事技術服務部門的館員居多。從工作職稱加以區分,約聘僱人員為主要工作人力。最後將職務輪調的年資考慮進來,從館員目前所擔任的工作年資區分,以從事目前工作11~20年的館員居多。
研究結果顯示,中央研究院專門圖書館館員對五大構面的平均數皆達3以上,依序是「工作內容」、「專業能力」、「個人生活品質、「主管與同儕關係」、「薪酬與保障」,代表受訪館員對於「工作內容」構面的滿意度最高,「薪資與福利保障」構面滿意度最低。 This research was taking Academia Sinica Special Library librarians as the research object. The purposes is to investigate the status of librarians’ life quality at work ,and to learn about the five facets of satisfaction with the quality of work life offered by Academia Sinica`s librarians such as : "Job Responsibility", "Salary ,Benefits and Assurance", "Relationship with Supervisor and Peers ", "Professional Competence" and "Personal Quality of Life". In addition, through this survey, I collected those librarians’ methods and suggestions for improving their own working quality. This study is going through questionnaire survey to conduct a comprehensive survey of 105 specialized librarians in 19 libraries of the Academia Sinica. Statistical analysis results show as below: According to the analysis of the respondents` basic information, the majority of librarians from the Academia Sinica Special Library are women. Most of their age are below 30 and among 30-39. As for marital status, married librarians are more than single ones. Also, the numbers of librarians with children are more than the ones without children. Most of these librarians’ education background is bachelor`s degree. Most of their major is Library and Information Science .The majority of these workers have been working there for 11-20 years. To distinguish all the librarians within their study groups, Humanities and Social Sciences Group shares more numbers. In terms of current job responsibilities, Technical Service Department librarians are the majority. About working position, the major of these employees are contractors. At last, considering their working years from job rotation into their current duty, most of them have been working there for 11-20 years.
The result of study has shown that the interviewees of Academia Sinica Special Library librarians got their average points above 3.0, according to the five facets, which are ordered as:
"Job Responsibility", "Professional Competence", "Personal Quality of Life", "Relationship with Supervisor and Peers", "Salary, Benefits and Assurance”. Interviewees show the highest satisfaction in "Job Responsibility", meanwhile, the satisfaction of "Salary, Benefits and Assurance” is the lowest. |
