    摘要: 臺北市教育局自92年起每年均提供專款購置符合高、國中與小學各級學校教學需求之「線上資料庫」，讓師生可以無限次數使用，並允許引用資料庫之內容於教學用途。線上資料庫價格昂貴，教育局及承辦學校圖書館往往投注大量人力及成本，卻無從瞭解使用者的使用狀況及意見，並藉以衡量成效以求改進。我們先以普通高中為研究對象，抽樣全市36所高中，探討線上資料庫之使用及推展的情形。本研究統計使用情形後，發現各校使用狀況差異頗大。於是針對歷年來線上資料庫評選流程、購買資料庫種類、學校圖書館是否大力的宣導使用等方面加以探討，最後提出幾點建設性意見期許推展工作更順利。
    Since 2003, the Department of Education of Taipei City Government has offered each year the particular fund to purchase the on-line database in response to the needs of local high schools and elementary schools. Teachers and students alike can make use of the resources in their teaching and learning whenever they need. The price of the above-mentioned on-line database is expensive. However, the Department of Education of Taipei City Government hasn’t been able to get enough feedback and advice from the users after putting huge efforts and money so as to evaluate and improve the project. We’ve drawn 36 senior high schools out of the whole city as random samples, inquiring into the usage and the promotion of the on-line database. The results we’ve collected reveal numerous differences among these high schools. Our aim here is to get a full understanding of how the database has been chosen, used and promoted. Finally, we’d propose certain constructive opinions in the hope of helping them making better use of the on-line database.
