    摘要: 本研究主要觀察台灣四個入口網站在新聞服務上所提供的服務內容，其中包括新聞的分類、版面安排以及新聞搜尋、新聞討論、個人化服務五個面向。將四個入口網站分析與比較後，得到結果發現：整體而言，大部份的網站在新聞服務上，是非常用心且豐富的，整體介面也便於使用者操作。就整體版面的安排及搜尋功能上，都可讓使用者簡單、輕易地找新聞資訊及相關報導。唯討論區與個人化的服務仍有待繼續發展與加強，是未來可結合Web2.0概念繼續努力的重點。
    This research examines the contents provided by four Taiwanese portal sites in regard to their news service. Specifically, the contents examined are of the following five areas: news classification, webpage layout, news search capability, news forum, and personalized services. Based on the analysis and comparison of these portal sites, the conclusion is that, in general, most portal sites have a comprehensive news service and user friendly features. Looking at the webpage layout and search capability, all provide ease of navigation that allows users to locate the desired news and related articles. As for the news forum and personalized services, these still need further development and improvement. However, with the adoption of Web2.0 concept, these weaknesses can be the focus of future innovation.
