    Title: 建構可配置虛擬主機之遠距網路實驗室

    Abstract: 遠距學習環境的建置，可彌補課堂學習不足的缺憾，不論對學習者或教學者都有相當程度的助益。本研究建置之網路實驗室系統，能以遠距的方式操作及學習網路設備，為模擬出更接近真實的學習情境，更具有可配置虛擬主機的機制。學習者在時間配額內，以遠端預約的方式，規劃及設定自己遠距學習的時間，而所有的操作與學習都是在遠端的真實設備上進行。
    本系統建置的遠距實驗室，可達成跨校資源分享的特性與需求，管理者增刪現有的郵件伺服器列表，即可立即提供校內或校外的學習者進入使用。本文即描述建置本系統時的經驗，期能提供後續有意建置者參考。
    The installation of distance-learning environment aims to facilitate not only the learners but also the teachers in a relatively high degree for it supplements the insufficiency in the in-class learning. This project of installing the network lab enables learners to operate network equipments in distance. By creating the simulation in the learning scenario, this project also mechanizes in dispatching virtual host. Learners are given the specific time quota and allowed to set up their schedule in which time they prefer planning and configuring by reserving on the system. Moreover, all the learners’ operating and learning proceed on the real equipment in distance.
    This distant laboratory system meets the requirement of sharing resources among schools. By adding or deleting the mail server list on hand, the system can immediately provide service for learners from the domestic school or the school outside. This paper thus describes the experience in installing the system and offers solutions as the reference for those who endeavor to install the system.
