Abstract: | 博物館的策展面臨空前未有的挑戰。觀眾越來越無法忍受曲高和寡的展覽。制式化的文物展示已經無法滿足當代觀眾的需求。不管是靜態的文物陳列,或是以科技動態的呈現文物與觀眾互動,都漸漸不被青睞。觀眾需要的是感動,要能夠看得懂文物背後的知識,要能夠體會文物所帶來的啟發。可是,為什麼即使向觀眾詢問策展的需求,但是所得到的反饋卻只是行政類的建議。本研究由使用者導向創新的角度重新檢視這個議題,並且點出「先備知識」的重要性。本研究指出,如果要讓使用者成為創新的來源,必須要讓使用者先擁有先備知識。當使用者具備了吸納能力,他們的建議才能夠成為有效地創新來源。本文以清明上河圖為例,先分析使用者在不具備先備知識時,會有怎樣的反饋;再分析他們具備先備知識時,反饋會有怎麼樣的不同。觀念上,本研究點出策展人如何透過先備知識取得使用者的策展創意。實務上,本研究分析如何運用先備知識強化使用者創新。創新者必須要理解,技術優良的研發成果並不會解決使用者所遭遇的問題,也不會滿足他們的需求。讓使用者具備先備知識,成熟的創意便可源源不絕的取得,使得創新不再孤芳自賞,而能造福人群。 Museums’ curating businesses have faced unprecedented challenges. Increasingly, audiences become less tolerant toward highbrow types of exhibition. Typical exhibition of artifacts can no longer satisfy modern audiences’ needs. No matter it is static exhibition of artifacts, or dynamic demonstration of technology by means of audience interaction; traditional approaches to museum exhibitions are no more favored by audiences. Audiences desire to be touched by moving stories behind artifacts and appreciate the enlightenment from artifacts. However, it often baffles curators that efforts putting into audience surveys usually attract merely feedback concerning administrative improvements, rather than better innovation of exhibition. This research examines this issue from the lens of user-centric innovation and point out the importance of prior knowledge. This study found that if users were to become a core source of innovation, they must behold prior knowledge of a given domain. When users acquire absorptive capacity, their input could become effective source of innovation. This thesis examines River of Wisdom in two phases. The first examines users’ feedback when they do not have prior knowledge; the second phase examines their input towards exhibition contents when they acquire prior knowledge of the given artifacts. Conceptually, this study analyzes how curators may obtain creative ideas for exhibition innovation from users’ prior knowledge. Practically, this thesis examines how the analysis of users’ prior knowledge may enhance user innovation. Innovators must apprehend that new products that are technically excellent might not necessarily solve users’ problems, nor might fulfill their needs. Users must be equipped with prior knowledge of artifacts so as to provide continued sources of mature creativity. As such, narcissistic innovations could be minimized while practical innovations could benefit people. |
