Abstract: Mobile payment protocols have become more and more popular with the rapid development of network and mobile phones technologies. It gradually changes the consuming behaviors of consumers. However, must of the existing mobile payment protocols can only support on-line transactions. Some provides off-line transactions but have the limitation of micro-payments only. A micro-payment allows only a very small sum of money to be consumed for a transaction. This limitation is applied in order to avoid double-spending (ie., some money that used more than once without being detected) attack. In this paper, we introduce a new mobile payment protocol. The feature of the protocol is that it can detect the attack of double-spending, even if it is in an off-line transaction. We will explain the architecture and analyze the security features of the new protocol. We believe that the new construction will be beneficial to the real applications of mobile-payment consumptions. © 2017 IEEE.
