Abstract: The gravity of the Global Warming consequences force us to face the issue and try the best to mitigate its effects. Green Logistics practices, and especially the case of a Solar Panels Installation on a warehouse or plant’s roof, are studied in this article as solutions to reduce the economic, social and environmental casualties. The Net Present Value (NPV) Model in this paper and its results analysis show that project duration, Carbon Tax, initial energy price and its increasing rate are all positively related to the NPV Value. A high discount rate will, however, turn the NPV negative, thus raising the need of financing help for Green Logistics projects.
