    Abstract: 資訊不對稱,是產業中之一項特質,以往學者們曾針對資訊不對稱進行許多研究,但多係經數學的推演來建立其理論模型,這些數學模型在理論的建構上有其嚴謹性,在實務運用上亦有其貢獻與價值,但是對於實際現象則有過於簡化的缺陷,而未能對此情況下之決策者的策略行為有較深入的認識。本研究將廠商與顧客間之資訊不對稱分成A、B兩種類型,A型為顧客擁有較多之本身資訊,B型為廠商擁有較多產品品質的相關資訊,並探討其對企業策略之影響。本研究遵循B. G. Glaser與A. L. Strauss於1967年所提出之紮根理論(grounded theory)研究法,以台灣地區壽險業為完全滲透之情境,參酌以往學者所提出之重要策略構面,發展一個半結構式的訪談架構,對產業發展歷程、產業現況及個別廠商之策略性作為加以深入瞭解分析,而後研究者嘗試建構A、B兩類「資訊不對稱」與「企業策略」、「產業特質」三個變數間關係之理論雛形。
