Abstract:	本文的目的，乃在檢討通貨多元化的浮動匯率制度是否具有浮動匯率論者所鼓吹的優點。我們將通貨替代及理性預期納入浮動匯率的模型，據以研究不同來源的經濟干擾如何影響小型開放經濟的物價、匯率與外匯存量，進而探討這些內生變數從存量（資產市場）均衡到流量（經常帳）均衡的調整路徑。在分析的過程中發現，大眾預料不到的經濟干擾會影響貿易條件、實質外匯存量等實質變數；其影響的方向與程度以及內生變數調整的方向與幅度，都與通貨替代性息息相關。由此可見，在通貨多元化的浮動匯率制度下，既會降低貨幣自主性，也會遭受國外經濟干擾的波及。換句話說，若浮動匯率也有（需求面）通貨替代性，它的調整機能便與（供給面）通貨完全替代的固定匯率相近而難以區分。
