    Title: 俄羅斯與中國政治中的車臣與台灣:兩個案例是否可以相比?
    Authors: Karpov, Mikhail V.
    Date: 2005-03
    Issue Date: 2016-08-30 14:16:11 (UTC+8)
    Abstract: 7.或許更正確的談論應是台灣主體或甚至是台灣民族主義,而不是「台灣分離主義」,畢竟一個已經獨立的國家怎會是分離的一省?
    1. The representatives of the political, military and scientific circles of the People’s Republic of China for a number of years with confidence proclaim that the problem of “Taiwan separatism” for China is the same as the Chechnya separatism in Russia, saying thus that these two cases are completely comparable. 2. The Problem of Chechnya separatism in Russia and so called “Taiwan separatism” as this case called by official Beijing we will analyse not from the point od International Law or political morality but from the point of their, so to say, state-historical substance. 3. There must be no doubt that in case with ROC on Taiwan we deal with structurally fully substantial de-facto independent state. In ethnic and cultural sense ROC has much in common with continental China but in ideological, political and institutional respects is pretty far from Mainland. 4. The tragedy of Chechnya is that being more then ten years de-facto independent and even having winning the war Russian Federal troops in 1994-1996 the elite of the republic was unable to lay the stable foundations for the national consolidation and high degree of societal fragmentation. Neither Soviet, nor post-Soviet elite turned able to deal with the situation. 5. ROC on Taiwan never was the part of the PRC on Mainland while Chechnya was ans is a part of Russian Federation. 6. ROC on Taiwan does not constitute any terroristic danger to any country of the World, while Chechen separatists constitute such danger to Russia and a number of other countries, being a part of International terrorist network. 7. Probably, it’s more correct to speak about Taiwanese identity or even Taiwanese nationalism but not “Taiwanese separatism” because how can already independent country be a separatist one?
