The direction in economic development is essential for Taipei`s future development. Land policy in industrial development, among others, is important element for economic development. Based on World City Theory, this paper formulates a framework for assessing Taipei`s industrial land policies. The study reveals that it is necessary to remedy current industrial land policies in order to help Taipei economic restructuring and its future economic development, as well as to promote Taipei`s world city functions.
